Hello Readers, my name is Michael Jante and I am an avid Rockets' fan. Born and raised in Houston by immigrants from the Philippines, I have been been watching the Houston Rockets since before I can remember. Sitting watching games with my father and grandfather on the sofa and recliners.
One of my first Rockets' memories was in 1986, I was five years old, Lakers vs. Rockets in the Western Conference Finals. Ralph Sampson's amazing twisting shot with 1 second left on the clock. All I remember is a lot of yelling and screaming and jumping around that I knocked over the glass of water, which shattered all over the living room floor. Since then, the Rockets have been my team and no one else.
You will read my game analysis, predictions, thoughts, opinions, and suggestions for the Rockets as well as other approved bloggers. My writings will not be bias towards the Rockets or any other team in the NBA. If the season is bad, I will talk about bad things and improving on those bad things. If the season is going great, I will talk about how to improve to make us even better.
I am a serious believer in anti-bandwagoning. I believe in the old cliche, "When the going gets tough, the tough gets going." No matter how good the Rockets are or how horrible they are, they are and always will be my NUMBER ONE TEAM!
